These Terms of Service govern your use of the Ahmadi Rug website (ahmadirug.com) and our rug cleaning, repair, restoration, appraisal, and bespoke custom rug services. By using the website or engaging our services you agree to these terms.
Estimates and pricing
Online prices and ranges shown on our service pages are starting points, not final quotes. Every rug is given a written estimate after intake inspection. Estimates are valid for 30 days. Final pricing reflects fibre type, construction, soil level, and any condition issues identified during inspection.
Pickup, delivery, and chain of custody
Pickup and delivery within our service area (Chicago and the North Shore) is included for qualifying orders. Every rug receives a written intake record with photographs documenting condition prior to service. Insured transport is provided by Ahmadi Rug staff. We are responsible for your rug from the moment it leaves your home until it is returned.
Service timelines
Standard cleaning is 5–7 days from pickup. Repair, restoration, and color correction timelines vary by the scope of work and are quoted in writing before work begins. Bespoke custom rug commissions typically run 8–14 months from approved mockup to delivery.
Payment
Payment is due on completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept credit card, ACH, and check. Custom rug commissions require a deposit at order placement and progress payments at agreed milestones.
Cancellations and changes
Cleaning and repair orders may be cancelled at no charge before work has begun. Once dye-testing or treatment has started, cancelled orders are billed at our standard rates for time and materials used to that point. Custom rug deposits are non-refundable once weaving has begun, as the work is bespoke and cannot be resold.
Limitations of liability
Antique and pre-owned rugs may exhibit pre-existing fragility, dye instability, or structural weakness that is not always visible at intake. Where we identify risks before service we will note them in the estimate and obtain authorization to proceed. Our liability for any claim relating to a rug is limited to the documented fair-market value of that rug as recorded at intake or, for appraised pieces, the value stated in the most recent written appraisal we have on file.
Photographs and portfolio use
We may photograph rugs in our workshop for our own quality records and, occasionally, for portfolio, educational, or marketing use. Customer-identifying information is never published. To opt out of any non-record use, email info@ahmadirug.com before service begins.
Website use
Content on ahmadirug.com — copy, photographs, video, and the underlying design — is the property of Ahmadi Rug and is provided for informational use. Reproduction or redistribution without written permission is not permitted.
SMS messaging

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any dispute arising under them is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
